What is an EUDR due diligence statement?
Under Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, companies placing cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy or wood products on the EU market must submit a due diligence statement confirming the goods are deforestation-free. The statement requires geolocation coordinates of production plots and a risk assessment. Who needs to file CBAM declarations?
EU importers of cement, iron and steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen must report embedded carbon emissions under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (Regulation 2023/956). From 2026 importers must purchase CBAM certificates. Eureghub calculates the estimated tariff from your product's carbon intensity, the EU Allowance price and any carbon price already paid in the origin country.
